Dubai, UAE: – As part of its support to help victims of the earthquakes that occurred in Turkey and Syria recently, Landmark Group – the leading retail and hospitality conglomerate, has joined hands with Emirates Red Crescent to support the ‘Bridges of Giving’ campaign, a nationwide community donation drive, to aid those affected by the disaster.

As part of the outreach in UAE, the Group brands Splash, Max fashion, Home Centre, Babyshop and Shoemart contributed over AED 5 million worth of essential goods towards the ‘Bridges of Giving’ campaign by Emirates Red Crescent that include clothes, shoes, socks, baby clothing and products, homeware, etc. In addition, Landmark Group conducted a community donation drive at Oasis Malls and its offices collecting over 100 boxes of food and other essentials towards the affected quake victims. The Group also contributed to Qatar Red Crescent to further their relief efforts.

Mohammad Ahmed Alyammahi, Dubai Center Manager from Emirates Red Crescent, said: “The earthquakes in Turkey and Syria have resulted in a humanitarian crisis that has affected thousands of people, and expected to have significant long-term implications in the coming years. This requires an actionable response that includes not only financial and in-kind support but also moral and emotional assistance. We are thankful to Landmark Group for this support.”
