Tamer Nasser - CEO of Heliopolis Company for Housing and Development indicated during his speech that reviving and operating the city of Granada is part of the company's plan to exploit its heritage assets in order to achieve the company's objectives to maximize the use of these assets as an investment, pointing out that it is considered one of the most important heritage and historical landmarks in Egypt, And a witness to many important periods in the contemporary history of Egypt, and a unique model of planning and architectural design for the first entertainment city that was established during the early last century by Baron Empain, founder of Heliopolis Company, after the completion of its restoration and development, which began in 2017 and took two years at a cost of about 47 One million pounds within the framework of the state’s plan to revive and develop heritage Cairo and its buildings and preserve the architectural identity of these buildings.
Nasser pointed out that the company was keen to restore and rehabilitate the assets owned by it with the participation of major companies and specialized entities with great experience and high competencies to raise the level of services in important sites with exceptional heritage on the land of Egypt, and among these sites was the city of Granada, which the company celebrates its return to life in its full splendor. Once again, which the company seeks during the coming period to maximize its economic and financial return and marketing to the city of Granada to operate it again by companies with great experience in managing and operating commercial, entertainment and service areas, and offering the city to companies wishing to exploit this place to achieve the highest possible profitability for both parties.
Nasser added that the offering is a usufruct right in the city for 3 different areas to more than one investor, provided that each area is offered separately, which is the area of the main building in the runway and the front yard, which is suitable for cultural and tourism activities, exhibitions and parties, and the second area is the royal rest building, and this area can be It is a high-level restaurant due to its nature, as it was the private resting place of King Farouk, and he was watching through its terrace horse races with princes and kings, and the third area is the backyard area, and it is suitable for many commercial, tourism and entertainment activities.
Nasser pointed out that the company is seeking to complete the project to develop Maryland, one of the oldest historical parks in Egypt, after starting its operation in various activities and reviving it while maximizing the financial benefit from it, according to the company's strategic plan to preserve the history of the park.
