Sharjah: Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS) and Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at tightening cooperation in many areas of mutual interest – especially in the field of educational exhibitions and conferences, in order to achieve their common goal of improving the education sector in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The signing ceremony took place on Monday at ECS by HE Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of ECS, and HE Ali Al Hosani, Director of SPEA, in the presence of a host of officials from both parties.
The MoU provides for reinforcing cooperation to achieve common goals through events and conferences, which support the private education sector in the Emirate of Sharjah, especially in terms of enhancing the participation of the teaching staff in the educational exhibitions organised by ECS such as the International Education Show, the Education Products Exhibition, and the Education Conference, in order to provide teachers and educators with the opportunity to learn about the latest education products and solutions, the latest trends and best international practices, thus contributing to the improvement of teachers and educators expertise and achieving excellence in the educational process.
HE Saif Mohammed Al Midfa stressed that the signing of the MoU is part of the strategic partnership of the two parties and the strong cooperation in all educational events and exhibitions organised by ECS. He pointed out to the MoU importance of reinforcing the role of exhibition sector in supporting the educational process in the emirate – especially since ECS has long experience in this domain, as it annually hosts a variety of educational events and exhibitions, most prominent of which are the UAE Schools and Nursery Show and the International Education Show.
HE Ali Al Hosani expressed SPEA's pleasure at signing the memorandum, which starts a new phase of cooperation between the two parties and enhances SPEA's participation in educational exhibitions organised by ECS and reaping the participation rewards, especially in terms of boosting the presence of teachers, educators, and representatives of private schools in the Emirate of Sharjah in a way that betters their career paths by introducing them to the latest developments in education at the regional and global levels, and enabling them to exchange ideas, expertise and experiences with major international educational institutions.
