Club Lab Golf has launched as the Middle East’s first elite coaching, expert fitting and club-building studio, in the heart of Dubai’s beloved neighbourhood of JLT. As a first-of-its-kind studio in the region, Club Lab Golf brings together a unique combination of the latest fitting technology, indoor launch monitors, and experienced PGA professionals with a mission to help UAE golf players and enthusiasts achieve their best game. The Founders

Club Lab Golf is a brainchild of Co-Founders Reg van Rooven, a PGA professional and Rohan Mehta, a UAE-based second-generation seasoned entrepreneur. Co-Founder Reg van Rooven, with his background as a PGA professional, leads the studio from an operations perspective and has joined hands with Mehta to present an A-Z solution for golf in the UAE under Club Lab Golf.  Together, the duo are set to reimagine the perception of golf in the UAE through a focus on elite coaching, expert fitting and club building supported by state-of-the-art technology and a highly personalized approach.

The Space

Located in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Cluster A, the state-of-the-art studio is a spacious in-house venue that spans across 2550 sq ft. Equipped with the latest cutting-edge sports technology, the venue includes two practice bays with large launch monitors and real feel mats to power the studio. A range of clubs mark the wall on the side, complemented by the retail section where golfers can browse through the latest sports apparel and accessories. By offering a one-stop shop for all golfing needs, Club Lab Golf is set to become the ultimate destination for enthusiasts of the sport, beginners and professionals alike to come and try their swing at the studio. As the UAE’s first fitting & club building studio, the stand-out feature is the concept’s in-house Lab. Elite Coaching

The training module at Club Lab Golf is unlike any other traditional setup followed at a regular driving range. Led by PGA professional Marno Vorster who is the Head of Instruction and Coach at Club Lab Golf, anyone who signs up for a training session will receive a personalized one-on-one experience with the use of the studio’s cutting-edge software cum app program, Swing Catalyst. With the ability to record every lesson and also track one’s progress over time, Club Lab Golf is an up-and-coming trendsetter in the region’s growing golf scene. Customers can access their live-recorded lessons and feedback from Marno any time of the day by simply accessing their emails or the supporting app, Swing Catalyst. Such exclusive one-on-one sessions are widely distinct from an outdoor golfing course where a video analysis of the before and after is seldom shared. Pricing for sessions starts from AED 575, with multiple value-led available for those committing to a longer plan.

Expert Club Fitting

Club Lab Golf offers expert club fittings that are customized to each player’s existing skill set and natural play.  By attuning their current set to their unique goals and objectives, Reg recommends the perfect club makeup that considers the lofts, lie, and grip amongst other metrics that set the tone for the game. Besides being able to make adjustments to the current club, the experts at Club Lab Golf can also build the perfect set right from scratch at the ‘Lab’.
