The virtual event will take place on the 29th and 30th of March, 2022.
The aim of the "AFCM Annual Conference: Bahrain 2022" is to establish an enabling environment for Arab Financial Markets while also strengthening their integration and liquidity. Furthermore, the event serves an important role in bringing together Arab financial market leaders with regional and international experts. The conference is expected to attract over 350 exchange attendees (both physical and virtual), as well as financial market regulatory bodies, brokerage firms, investment fund managers, and economic journalists.

The Federation currently includes 21 members representing around 17 stock and commodity exchanges, and four clearing companies, in addition to several financial brokerage firms and banks in the Arab region. The number of companies listed on Arab markets reached 1,572 companies with a capital of USD 3.8 trillion by the end of 2021.

The Arab Federation of Capital Markets was established in June 1978 to be the guiding body for the Arab stock exchanges, under the recommendation of the Arab Central Banks Conference, held under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The headquarters of the Arab Federation of Capital Markets is located in Beirut, Lebanon.
