As part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week’s productive outcomes, Masdar City signed an MoU with Wio Bank - the region’s first platform bank regulated by the Central Bank of the UAE, to support SMEs with innovative beyond-banking services.

The agreement grants Masdar City Free Zone startups and SMEs access to the Wio Business app, which provides them with a stream of benefits including a fully digital onboarding, no minimum balance requirement with 1 month free trial, access to virtual cards, saving spaces for various purposes such as VAT and rent, a complimentary debit card, and cheque book.
