Dubai - China Merchants Zhangzhou Development Zone Co., Ltd referred as China Merchants Zhangzhou and The CEO Clubs Network Worldwide signed a Strategic Partnership agreement for “Double Happiness Island” which is the first artificial island project in China as profit-oriented usage of ocean approved by the State Council of China. China Merchants Zhangzhou, the owners of the island visited Dubai to meet and visit Palm Island the first in the world plus other key projects in Dubai. The China Merchants Zhangzhou Delegation also meet the His Highness Sheikh Juma Al Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, the Patron of the CEO Clubs Network Worldwide.
The MOU was sign between the two organizations to establish strategic partnership in all aspects, long-lasting and stable alliance and drive for a close relationship of cooperation, support and investments on different developments in island. Also agreed to have a universal and close cooperation for the project of Double Happiness Island in project development, investment, and major international brand franchise referral and operation management.

The Double Happiness Island has a total area of 221.67 hectares (547.76 acres), including a land area of 192.78 hectares (476.37 acres) and waterside area of 28.89 hectares (71.39 acres). The Double Happiness Island is he first artificial island project as profit-oriented usage of ocean approved by the State Council of China, which is positioned to be an internationally oriented, high-end, low-density, leisure and vacation destination.
