Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q) welcomes 10 new faculty members for the new 2019-2020 academic year. The new faculty members will teach courses in the areas of business administration and the arts and sciences.

The new faculty members are: Kira Dreher, assistant teaching professor of English; Simon Faulkner, assistant teaching professor of chemistry; Agustin Indaco, assistant teaching professor of economics; Jasmine Kirby, instruction and engagement librarian; Ezzohra Moufid, lecturer, French; Deepa Nair, assistant teaching professor of history; Veli Safak, assistant teaching professor of economics; Varun Sharma, assistant teaching professor of marketing; Jeff Squires, assistant teaching professor of English; and Patrick Walsh, assistant teaching professor of philosophy.

CMU-Q offers undergraduate programs in biological sciences, business administration, computational biology, computer science and information systems. Faculty members in the arts and sciences teach mandatory and elective courses in a variety of fields.
