Doha, Qatar: To provide further ease and comfort to its users, Careem, the region’s leading ride hailing platform and the only tech unicorn for the Middle East, has announced launching a new car type in Qatar today.

The launch comes as a result of Careem’s partnership with Salik, one of Qatar’s leading limousine companies. Through this partnership, Both Careem and Salik will cater to all sections of society, especially families and ensure a safer, more comfortable way to travel around the city.

The Max car type will feature one of the most popular and desired SUVs in Qatar, the Toyota Land Cruiser and users can book the Max car type on-demand and scheduled bookings using the Careem app. All Max cars will feature complimentary Apple and Android mobile chargers, AUX cables and water bottles.

The Tech unicorn started its operations in Qatar in 2015 through its Careem GO and GO+ car types and has always looked for ways to fulfil the increasing demand and bridge current ride-hailing gaps in the region.

With continuous expansion, Careem is setting in motion a new industry in Qatar and several other countries. The service looks to establish a reliable mode of transportation for its customers and create jobs in the process.
