New devices see next generation black and white range in light to mid-production arena
Production versatility means new range may be configured with multiple combinations of advanced stacking, punching, perfect binding, and trimming accessories.
Dubai, UAE, April 2nd, 2007 - Canon Middle East, world leader in digital imaging technology, has announced today the launch of a new range of black and white, light to mid-production printers for the commercial, print for pay and corporate in-plant environments. The iR7086, iR7095, and iR7105 provide high image quality, combined with improved paper handling for both large and small print jobs.
In order to meet the high demands of the production market, the range consists of a new three speed portfolio with the iR7086, iR7095, and the iR7105 models producing 86, 95 and 105 pages per minute respectively. They also offer higher monthly production capability, as well as faster data processing speeds and improved document handling. True to its commitment to the professional marketplace and continuing with its heritage to innovate, the new range also comes with an in-line Perfect Binder, an industry first and something no other manufacturer is offering at this time on a system in this class.
In addition, to address the diverse demands of today's black and white printing market, the modular nature of the printers means that there is scope to add a wide-range of finishing options, including stapling, folding, saddle stitching, insertion and trimming. There is also a 5,000 sheet high capacity stacker with a removable trolley to transport the output to the next process and a professional hole punching module with interchangeable punch tools. As a result of this modular design, Canon can now offer pre-set system configurations tailor made to meet the demands of production sectors within the on-demand printing, production and publishing environment. Alternatively, customers can build their own product configuration best suited to individual business requirements.
"2007 sees us launching a new professional portfolio and this new black and white production range will put us even more firmly on the professional printing map", Gautam Chakrabarty, Senior Product Manager, Business Solutions Department, Canon Middle East. "These systems incorporate a great number of enhancements, as well as introducing new finishing accessories and capabilities designed to allow our users to offer a wider range of products and services to their customers. The higher duty cycles and advanced functionality of this new range, allows us to target the most demanding light to mid-production environments".
To ensure optimum system productivity, the new range comes with a choice of powerful RIP controllers for different print environments and is complimented with Canon's suite of document management solutions to streamline production workflow and reduce job turnaround times.
