United Arab Emirates, Dubai – Campion International, a UAE-based sustainable urban lighting company, will showcase a new generation of smart solar lighting systems for urban projects and smart cities at the upcoming Big 5 Solar 2017 exhibition from 26th-29th November at Dubai World Trade Centre. Exclusively developed to hold Campion’s trade name, the new smart solar lighting solution is designed to meet the increasing demand for high quality solar lighting products which meet the highest global standards.
“Environmentally-friendly and maintenance-free are two of the most valuable features of the Campion solar lighting systems, including our best-selling solar street lights which now offer a breakthrough function of being operated and monitored remotely in order to easily maintain performance and durability”, explained Mohammed Zain, Managing Partner of Campion International.
“We have incorporated the latest in ‘intelligent’ networking to provide a remote monitoring system with ‘linkable communication’ between each solar street light which can be accessed via Zigbee and GPRS technology”, added Zain.
The company will offer all visitors a comprehensive look on the efficiency and feasibility of using the new solar lighting system, developed for the first time in the region using sustainable designs and intelligent technologies while employing the latest LED lighting solutions. The system is a compact, integrated solar energy kit characterised by its efficiency and aesthetic design, compared to the conventional solar lighting systems.
In addition, Campion Smart Control System offers customers revolutionary and real-time performance monitoring as well as the flexibility to change the lighting operation profile or LED brightness of the solar lights. Campion has developed a world trending wireless remote operation system to control the solar street lights by accessing Campion’s operations system. All lights are connected with an individual Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) and one Data Terminal Unit (DTU) where one DTU can control 200 units or less. The DTU unit requires GPRS cellular network connection with less than 10 MB per month of data consumption. The system has real-time parameters to monitor its functions and working performance, such as lights temperature, battery voltage, solar panel charging, in addition to an under voltage alarm and overload information, all parameters are controlled with a user-friendly interface.
“I would like to extend an invitation to everyone to visit us at Big 5 Solar booth Z6 B41 to see the full range of high-end solar lighting products which we are offering in an effort to contribute to sustainability and combat climate change”, said Mr Zain.
