Manama, Bahrain: The long-standing commitment to heart care for the citizens and residents of the Kingdom of Bahrain continues through the expansion of BSH Apollo Interventional Cardiology Clinic at BSH - Riffa Clinic on the occasion of World Heart Day, September 29th, 2021. The goal is to provide high-quality cardiac healthcare to patients in the area, as well as to reduce the number of deaths caused by cardiovascular diseases.

A comprehensive team of highly qualified and well experienced interventional cardiologists who have performed over 300 successful cath lab procedures at the BSH Apollo Heart Center in Juffair will be available at the Interventional Cardiology Clinic at Bahrain Specialist Hospital - Riffa Clinic for OPD Consultations and Non-Invasive Procedures including ECG, TMT, Holter, 2D Echo etc to provide convenient cardiac care for all patients.

Dr. Abdul Azeez Asad Mohamed, Interventional Cardiologist further adds, “Since coronary heart disease is the leading cause of death in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as globally, it is pivotal for patients to visit the clinic if they experience any type of cardiac symptoms, such as chest pain. The clinic will be providing ECG at no charge to determine the cause of chest pain. We'll be working closely with the BSH Apollo Heart Center in Juffair to deliver tertiary care services like emergency Cath Lab procedures.”
