Sharjah: The Badiri Education and Development Academy (Badiri), the education and capacity development arm of NAMA Women Advancement Establishment (NAMA), has launched its ‘Become an E-Academy Content Partner’ initiative at a virtual press event on Tuesday (November 17).

The initiative, aimed diversifying and further enriching the fully-sponsored online courses and resources currently available at the Badiri E-Academy, has called on global creators of digitised educational and vocational training content – both individuals and entities – to become a content partner and push forward Badiri’s agenda of empowering anyone and everyone in the world who want to advance their lives and careers by allowing them free access to a unified repository of specialised contributions on a wide array of topics. 

Badiri E-Academy welcomes courses, workshop materials, and research papers from contributors in English and Arabic languages, which will be published on Badiri Academy’s website as well as their smart mobile application.

The virtual press event witnessed the participants of local and Arab media representatives and partners.

How to become a partner and content categories

The new initiative requires all applicants to show demonstrable expertise in their chosen field of knowledge, have a strong academic background, a passion to advance education, and the ability to deliver their knowledge effectively.

Interested individuals and institutions can submit content for approval and publication in the following categories: Business, Culture, Health & Wellness, Theories & Sciences, STEM, Women Studies, Professional & Personal Development Skills, and Creative Industries.

Highlighting the intention that drove the launch of the initiative, Dr. Mona Al Ali, Manager of Badiri Education and Development Academy, said: “The new initiative comes in response to the increasing global demand to acquire skill sets that fulfill the needs of a rapidly changing economy, be it in the job market or in the entrepreneurial sector. By collaborating with us, our partners’ excellence in their respective fields will empower current and future generations with the knowledge and practical capabilities they need to successfully participate in the economy as well as contribute positively to their societies. In doing so, they will be key contributors to Badiri Academy’s mission of making education and learning accessible to maximum number of people worldwide.” 

The manager noted that the launch of ‘Become an E-Academy Content Partner’ initiative would enrich Badiri Academy’s open-source learning platform with new and varied materials from different sources that will allow users to gain knowledge, analyse, compare with other available resources and offer valuable feedback.

Addressing prospective partners, Al Ali, further noted: “Your contribution to this initiative is so much more than just become a contributor; it is about enabling the enrichment of lives and careers of hopefully millions around the globe. This initiative, born in Sharjah, targets every individual in the world aiming for self-advancement and seeking to contribute actively to their communities. We hope our new initiative attracts a great number of partners and contributors, enabling them to fulfill their responsibilities towards society and building a bright collective future for us all through Badiri E-Academy.”

Partner benefits

Content partners will receive global exposure as the E-Academy is accessible to everyone across the world. The partner profile or bio will be visible alongside their contributed content with direct links to their website.  

Course materials will be subtitled or translated by Badiri E-Academy from English to Arabic and vice versa. Partners may be mentioned in the press materials featured on the E-Academy’s marketing collaterals and at events. Partner logos or photos may be featured on the academy’s social media channels. The content partner will receive an appreciation certificate for contributing and sharing knowledge.

A free e-learning platform

Badiri Academy was initially designed to realise the entrepreneurial potential of women in the UAE. Over the years, it has honed its members’ vocational, entrepreneurial and organisational skills, and offered them practical tools to successfully translate their ideas into entrepreneurial projects. Inspired by the positive change Badiri Academy’s educational programmes have continued to bring about in the lives of these women, the entity recently globalised its outreach with the Badiri E-Academy – a free e-learning platform packed with specialised courses offered to anyone and everyone in the world who want to advance their lives and careers.  

While Badiri Academy focuses on women’s advancement, the Badiri E-Academy is open to everyone with internet access worldwide, as its founders believe that information and knowledge should be accessible to everyone.

The courses offered on this e-learning platform have already supported 8,301 learners, and continues to meet the needs of university students, business women and men, entrepreneurs and others with professional training courses in business, entrepreneurship, professional development, culture and science, in Arabic as well as English. The programmes will gradually expand to include additional courses and languages.

Content partnership guidelines

The guidelines to join the initiative are accessible at https://contribute.badiriacademy.org. Once an application is approved, the applicant will sign a contract with the academy.

Content creators with original content that they desire to showcase on the E-Academy’s platform must apply for partnership on https://contribute.badiriacademy.org, provided the content is aligned with Badiri Academy’s vision and mission.

Content creators with new ideas they desire to develop in collaboration with Badiri can email to e-academy@badiri.ae, and apply to become a partner on https://contribute.badiriacademy.org, as long as their content is aligned with Badiri Academy’s vision and mission.
