The port town of Duqm in the Al Wusta region is all set to witness the opening of one of its most anticipated international school projects - the “A’soud Global School (AGS) Duqm Branch”, in September 2019. AGS is among the finest international schools in Oman under the management of English Education Management company LLC, and is the flagship educational facility of one of the Sultanate’s leading business groups – Al Tamman Holding in joint venture with reputed education group of UAE “Al Najah Education”.

AGS Duqm will be the first school of its kind in the Al-Wusta region, and will offer innovative Cambridge international curriculum to pupils belonging to different nationalities in the vicinity. In its first phase, the school will be admitting pupils from Kindergarten (KG1) to Grade 5; in subsequent years the school will grow to an Upper Preparatory and Senior School preparing pupils for the IGCSE.

Inspired by the phenomenal success of its previous schools in Muscat, the group decided to open a branch of A’soud Global School in Duqm; with the prime objective of playing a major role in developing the educational ecosystem of the area, by providing quality education to the children of those working in the port town. The school will bring families and companies together for the betterment of the community by fulfilling educational needs and requirements.

Located at Rock Garden district of Duqm in a purpose-built campus spanning 15000 SQM, AGS Duqm will educate pupils aged 3 year 2 months to 17 years in state-of-the-art facilities, which will include spacious and stimulating classrooms, outdoor multi-games courts, swimming and splash pools, a football pitch, an indoor multi-purpose sports hall, a library, ICT room, art and drama room, and laboratories.

The school will nurture excellence while keeping in mind the culture and tradition of the Sultanate. It will offer pupils a vibrant and challenging learning environment, rich array of resources with a distinctive independent school style that reflects the values and dynamic culture of the Sultanate of Oman. With a team of experienced British, International and Arabic teaching and support staff, the school will develop independent and creative minds; with the aim to equip pupils with the capability of achieving their aspirations - both academically and morally. This will go a long way in enabling students to respond to the rapidly changing world in which they will pursue further study and work in the time to come.

The registration process for admission to the school has already begun, and parents are welcome to contact the school’s registration office in Muscat by calling or sending a message on WhatsApp to +968 72 1111 32. Additionally, parents can also email registrar@agsduqm.edu.om for further information.
