A’Saffa Foods, Oman’s largest fully integrated poultry, snacks and allied food company recently participated in the 24th edition of the ‘Gulfood 2019’, the largest food exhibition in the region that took place recently at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Visitors and delegates at Gulfood were able to meet A’Saffa Foods’ representatives, gain first-hand information about the brand’s products and enjoy samples of tasty, satisfying Halal chicken and snacks.

Spanning more than 1,000,000 square feet of F&B products and showcases, Gulfood welcomed over 98,000 attendees from 193 countries this year. The event witnessed the participation of more than 5,000 exhibitors - and 120 country pavilions – that showcased products across 8 primary market sectors.

It is worth mentioning that A’Saffa Foods’ Board of Directors have started implementing the expansion plan to raise chicken meat production capacity by 100 percent and continue in their endeavor to foster and support food security, self-sufficiency and increased employment opportunities in the Sultanate. The total capital expenditure outlay of the expansion is RO 45 million, and has been approved by the Board. A’Saffa Foods will double its poultry production capacities with this expansion.
