The upscale spa center represents significant milestone in provision of amenities at Andalus' latest luxury Abu Dhabi resort

Abu Dhabi: Andalus Al Seef Resort & Spa has signed a collaboration with Beijing International to open a luxury spa, Andalus Spa, in the newly opened Andalus Al Seef Resort & Spa compound in Abu Dhabi.

Andalus Spa, which will offer a range of signature therapies from various parts of Asia as well as some local-centric treatments, will operate from a villa at the new spectacular resort, a collection of apartment-style suites located in a villa complex near Al Seef Village Mall.

Following an agreement between Andalus Hotels & Resorts, which operates Al Seef Village that includes Andalus Al Seef Resort & Spa, and Beijing International, it is the latest in a number of high end services, restaurants, cafes and boutique shops to book their place at the highly anticipated resort, which is due to open this month.

Andalus Hotels & Resorts Chief Executive Officer, Caroline Delbecque, said: "This agreement is a significant step in the evolution of Andalus Al Seef Resort & Spa into a premier attraction for long-stay visitors and families.

"We are proud to be forming a partnership with Beijing International, which has developed a reputation for high quality wellness treatments. Not only do guests at Andalus Al Seef Resort & Spa have access to great recreation facilities, shops and food and beverage outlets, they'll also have the perfect place to relax and unwind."

Andalus Spa is slated to open within Andalus Al Seef Resort & Spa in the first quarter of this year.

Spanning the entirety of a three-floor villa; the first for women only, the second for men, and the third floor for couples, it plans to launch a specially-crafted menu with a local flavor that is exclusive to the resort.

A list of treatments will include a Chinese wellness massage that stimulates the body's acupressure points, improving blood circulation. The traditional Ayurvedic massage, originating from India, uses specially prepared herbal oils to rejuvenate the body and eliminate toxins. Meanwhile, the Thai massage places the body in different positions to stretch muscles and alleviate stress, resulting in an improved sense of well-being and flexibility.

"One of Andalus Spa's primary appeals will be its broad range of treatments," said Ms Delbecque. "From rejuvenating weary muscles and eliminating toxins, to relieving stress and improving flexibility, we're confident that our guests will find an uplifting remedy for their ailments."

Andalus Al Seef Resort & Spa is a collection of more than 200 hotel-serviced villas and apartments that combine stylish contemporary décor with Mediterranean influences.

Located on Abu Dhabi's Eastern Ring road, the resort is fully furnished which consists of 70 one-bedroom terrace suites, 54 two-bedroom garden suites, 16 two-bedroom pool suites, 58 three-bedroom suites, and 12 Andalus Royal Suites. Guests have access to Andalus' renowned butler service - guests' very own personal genie - as well as high speed internet and regular housekeeping services.
