The Fairways district to include Al Zorah Golf Living, Golf Estates, Al Zorah Golf Club and a Wellness Centre
First residents to move in by year-end as they take possession of their Golf Villas

Al Zorah will see its first residential community come alive at The Fairways district - a mixed-use neighbourhood featuring villas, townhouses, apartments, a Golf Club, a community park and a Wellness Centre - as home-owners take possession of a luxury collection of four- and five-bedroom Golf Villas, by December 2016.
The announcement was made at Cityscape Global 2016 being held at the Dubai International Convention Centre until September 8.
Located right on the Nicklaus-Design 18-hole championship golf course with views of azure blue lakes, natural mangroves and in close proximity to the beach, the front living luxurious selection of Golf Villas at The Fairways are a distinctly built product, not just in the Northern Emirates but also in the UAE.
Imad Dana, Chief Executive Officer of Al Zorah Development Company, a joint venture between master-developer Solidere International and the Government of Ajman, said: "We are pleased to announce that the handover of our first luxury collection of villas around a truly fantastic golf course is nearing completion. A second residential neighborhood within The Fairways - the Golf Estates - which was announced last year, broke ground this year. Mobilisation work is already underway and excavation work has commenced on this mixed-use community. Villas and townhouses will be initially constructed followed by the apartments. The community, which offers more front row villas in various sizes and types, and will also include a retail element to cater to the needs of residents. Phase one of Golf Estates is available for potential home-buyers.
Dana remarked: "The Golf Estates community offers the choice of villas, townhouses, or apartments. The homes are arranged to maximise views of the golf course, the lakes and the mangrove forest along the creek, without sacrificing the privacy of residents. A community park will cater to families and children and this community, like all other communities in Al Zorah, is interconnected through well laid out pedestrian trails and walkways."
Al Zorah's master-developer, Solidere International, also updated investors and potential customers on the progress being made at several concurrent projects underway on-site from beach resorts to leisure amenities and public space design. The 5.4 million sq mtrs development along a natural creek and seafront is set apart from other destinations by its exotic setting of 2 million sq mtrs of natural mangroves and an expansive waterfront.
Al Zorah currently has over 1,400 workers on site, with the total number set to grow as the development progresses. Another existing landmark within The Fairways district is the eye-catching Pavilion - designed by French born architect and designer, Annabel Karim Kassar who is known for her creative designs. Sheltered under a magnificent illuminated canopy, The Pavilion which serves as Al Zorah's presentation center and office, is itself a multifunctional attraction for the development. Al Zorah also unveiled a partnership with an exclusive sushi bar operator that will enable visitors and golf enthusiasts with a new venue to relish along with Shakespeare and Co.
The Pavilion will also be home to the first Thanani, a simple yet stylish Arabic culinary concept with a European twist, developed by Figjam on behalf of owners, MAZ Investment. The 982 sq mtrs rooftop resto-lounge will bring truly novel cuisine to Ajman for the first time, and is set to open later this month.
