Abu Dhabi:– UAE’s national insurance company, Al Wathba National Insurance Company (AWNIC), and the national carrier, Etihad Airways, have partnered to offer Etihad Guest members triple Etihad Guest Miles for a limited time only.
Through this scheme, customers are provided with a one-stop-solution for all their insurance needs while also being rewarded for their purchase with Etihad Guest Miles.
The one-of-a-kind offer is valid on all personal lines of insurance products both online and directly, including home insurance, car insurance, jet ski insurance, yacht insurance, and more. Etihad Guest members will receive triple miles when using the AWNIC app, website, or directly with the AWNIC customer care team. Customers should provide their Etihad Guest membership number before issuing their insurance policy to take advantage of the benefit.
“This offer is quite unique in terms of its proposition and is reflective of both entities commitment towards generating value for its loyal customers. We could not have asked for a better partner to launch this unique proposition – a first of its kind for a UAE insurance provider” says Anas Mistareehi, AWNIC’s Chief Operating Officer.
“Joining forces with a globally renowned brand such as Etihad brings a new dimension to our customer experience and increases benefits for our ever-growing network of customers. The partnership creates a synergy of rewards for our customers and allows us to provide the added benefit of being an Al Wathba customer” continues Anas Mistareehi.
Yasser Al Yousuf, Vice President Commercial Partnerships, Etihad Airways, said: “The new triple miles offer with AWNIC is a testament of our commitment to continuously evolve and expand our lifestyle programme to provide Etihad Guest members the opportunity to earn miles without flying. Members can earn even more miles if paying for their insurance with one of our co-branded payment cards.”
Besides using Etihad Guest Miles for flights and upgrades, the Etihad Guest Programme launched ‘Miles on the Go’ earlier this year allowing members to earn and spend miles at select partners in the UAE using the Etihad Guest mobile application. The Etihad Guest Reward Shop (rewards.etihadguest.com), also an initiative by the national airline, allows Etihad Guest members to spend miles on the latest shopping must-haves.
Travellers can enrol in the Etihad Guest programme free of charge and can take advantage of the triple miles offer until 22 November 2020.
