Philippine Ambassador Noralyn Jubaira Baja met with Mr. Stafford Bomester, Senior Manager of the Development and Alumni Department of the University of Cape Town (UCT) on 19 April 2023.
During the meeting, both sides discussed and exchanged views on how UCT can forge cooperation and linkages with its Philippine counterparts.
During the 5th Philippines-South Africa Bilateral Consultative Forum held on 23 February 2023, academic cooperation was identified as a priority sector of engagement between the two countries. As one of the premier universities in South Africa, UCT will play a pivotal role in bringing this initiative to fruition.
