On 26 February 2023, H.E. Mr. Puttaporn Ewtoksan, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, attended the 265th ASEAN Committee in Cairo (ACC) Meeting which was chaired by Viet Nam. The Ambassador updated the Meeting on the preparation for the Brown Bag session with a leading university in Egypt and proposed an activity in celebration of ASEAN Day 2023. He also invited ACC countries to participate in the Thai Food Bazaar 2023 to be held on 10-12 March 2023 at the Fish Garden in Zamalek. On this occasion, Viet Nam handed over ACC chairmanship to Brunei Darussalam.
