Riyadh, KSA : Underlining its commitment to furthering the Kingdom’s energy goals, Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) today concluded its successful participation as part of the Saudi Arabia Pavilion in the 24th edition of the World Energy Congress (WEC) held in Abu Dhabi from 9-12 September.
At the triennial event organized by the World Energy Council and held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, AEC showcased its comprehensive range of innovative, efficient and sustainable energy solutions. The company’s integrated Smart Meters and advanced Smart Cities Solutions were among key attractions as they were aligned with the Congress’s theme, ‘Energy for Prosperity.’
Commenting on the participation, Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, President and CEO of AEC, said: “We are pleased to have reached a new milestone in our growth journey with the successful conclusion of our participation in a strategic event like WEC. The Congress offered us an excellent opportunity to gather deeper insights into the current and future trends in the energy industry as well as connect with our global and regional partners. His Royal Highness Abdulaziz Bin Salman, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Energy, visited AEC at the World Energy Congress, where he was briefed on AEC’s innovative and integrated smart energy solutions and its new line-up of technologies and capabilities. In addition to several high-profile dignitaries and industry experts.
The Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), helps measure, collect, analyze, and optimize energy usage, AEC’s Smart Meters provides its customers with deep insights into their utility consumption to enable them to reduce their operational costs.
