Abu Dhabi - In the run up to GITEX Technology Week which will be held in Dubai starting next week, the Abu Dhabi Smart Solutions and Services Authority (ADSSSA) unveiled a major program under its digital transformation strategy as part of its efforts to accelerate Abu Dhabi’s vision and position the emirate’s leadership in building a sustainable knowledge-based economy, during a press conference held at Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi on Thursday October 11, 2018. It also announced the latest progress on TAMM, a first of a kind platform in the region aimed at delivering service excellence across Abu Dhabi Government.

ADSSSA also announced the latest progress on the unified digital services platform (TAMM) whichwas launched in February this year, a first-of-its-kind platform in the region aimed at delivering service excellence across Abu Dhabi Government.

ADSSSA highlighted the significant role of digital transformation in propelling social and economic growth in Abu Dhabi, facilitating the lives and prosperity of citizens and enhancing the emirate’s business environment, which is one of the main goals of ‘Ghadan 21’, the Abu Dhabi Government Accelerator’s Program.

As one of the core pillars of ADSSSA’s strategy, digital transformation provides the framework for the creation of transformative, innovative and modern government services guided by policies and advanced technologies. Focused on providing a common digital platform that is flexible and scalable, the strategy seeks to consolidate fragmented government services under one integrated and secure platform, while ensuring efficiency.

Under the digital transformation strategy, ADSSSA revealed TAMM’s range of innovative channels with 80 end-to-end journeys, aimed at streamlining the processes of over 1,600 government services, operating under a single platform. The platform capitalizes on innovative digital technologies to facilitate the experience in completing its requirements in a convenient and efficient manner. It provides investors, citizens, and residents in Abu Dhabi with a seamless experience while meeting their business or personal needs.

H.E. Dr. Rauda Al Saadi, Director General of ADSSSA, said: “Abu Dhabi Smart Solutions and Services Authority has reached a new milestone today in line with Abu Dhabi’s vision to become a global smart city which serves its citizens, residents, investors and visitors with a digital infrastructure that facilitates their activities and thereby enhances their lives. This is in line with Abu Dhabi’s vision of building a ‘One Government’ service model focused on excellence, speed and efficiency.”

The ‘One Government’ service model follows the leading global trends on government practices which focuses on excellence in addressing social and economic change to further engage citizens and the private sector. TAMM leverages on the advancements in technologies to provide citizen-centric services and facilities. ADSSSA is leading the implementation of the emirate’s vision to deliver these networked services while advancing the digital transformation agenda on par with global standards.

H.E. Dr. Al Saadi, noted that the three major channels launched under TAMM, which include a one-stop shop online portal, a smart application, and customer service centres are aimed at providing convenience, seamless experience and personalized services for customers, under a unified access point. She added that these are easy-to-use tools which empower customers’ mobility through the wide accessibility of the technologies.

Some of the journeys that have been launched through TAMM have already been addressing the needs of citizens and residents in areas such as tourism and hospitality, housing, and healthcare. Key government entities of these sectors such as the Department of Economic, Abu Dhabi Police, Department of Urban Planning and municipalities and Department of Culture and Tourism have already experienced the benefits of TAMM for the organizations and to their stakeholders.

The three major channels launched include a one-stop shop channel through a web portal, a mobile smart application, and the customer service centers. TAMM is a ‘unified omnichannel’ which capitalizes on innovative digital technologies to enable seamless, convenient and personalized services. Some of the features of the digital channels include Digital ID, AD Maps, AD Alerts, AD Events, AD Info, AD pay, AD Rewards, AD Feedback, and AD Locker.

TAMM is an integrated platform launched by ADSSSA to provide services for key sectors such as real state, education, health, entertainment, family, community, among others. The initiative is in line with ADSSSA’s efforts to transform and consolidate government processes and services focused on its stakeholders’ needs.
