Amman - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) and ZTE signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop digital solutions in various fields.
According to the Memorandum, the two parties agreed to form a joint strategic taskforce who will cooperate to implement in the provisions of the agreement in the Information Technology and communication, education, transportation and smart devices fields in Jordan.
HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh said that this agreement is an opportunity for cooperation to explore digital solutions. He stressed on the importance of cooperating in the field of e-learning which is the future of education.
He noted that it is possible to find a mechanism for cooperation in the field of knowledge stations which were established by TAG-Org in various governorates in the Kingdom to be used by youth free-of-charge and which provide free education and save time and effort to students and government by easing pressure on teachers and schools.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Chinese Ambassador to Jordan HE Mr. Pan Weifang and held at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University headquarters.
Meanwhile, ZTE Middle East vice president Mr. Hu Shu said that ZTE is one of the leading companies in the field of communication and information technology and today it is one of the biggest listed communication companies in China.
He added that the company was established in 1985 and has presence in 107 branches around the world and employs around 80,000 employees.
He added that the company has been working in Jordan for 10 years through agreements with the government and GSM operators.
The MoU was signed by ZTE's General Manager of Jordan office, Mr. Chen Yongliang and Mr. Marlon Nimri, TAG-Org Coordinator for China business.
