AMMAN- Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), received the Iraqi Ambassador to Jordan, HE Ms. Safia Al-Souhail to discuss methods of cooperation in common fields.
During the meeting, both parties discussed how to strengthen cooperation and coordination in the field of education to promote and raise the level of cultural, economic, and technological exchange, in the presence of the Cultural Attaché for the Embassy of Iraq, Dr. Falah Al Musawi.
HE Ambassador Al-Souhail stressed on the importance of the exchange of experiences and cooperation with TAG-Org, praising their role in developing the educational sector, particularly for Jordanian Universities, and in promoting the education of Iraqi students in many diverse scientific fields.
HE Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed of his hope in promoting the exchange of experiences in the field of Education with Iraqi Universities, pointing out of the high educational level that Iraqi students already portray at Jordanian Universities.
Other means of cooperation were discussed during the meeting including the establishment of a Talal Abu-Ghazaleh School of Business in Iraq, in addition to TAG-Org creating programs for capacity building of Iraqi teachers, and in increasing economic-related activities in Jordan. Other means of cooperation discussed also included finding job opportunities for all Iraqis residing in Jordan and other Arab countries through "Abu-Ghazaleh Recruit (TAG-Recruit)" company, a member of TAG-Org.
