Cairo: ABB Egypt has moved to a new administrative headquarters on North 90th Street in New Cairo built on an area of ​​8400 square meters.

Designed as a smart & green building, ABB has utilized the latest digital technology from medium and low voltage panels, dry transformers, control panels for operation of generators, air conditioning units, water pumps and firefighting systems related to ABB’s Building Management System (BMS). ABB Solar Inverters units with the addition of ABB UPS system are also installed to ensure an uninterrupted power supply. Also, all mounted equipment in the new building are considered to be energy saving thanks to ABB Drives. In addition, all lighting units in the building are energy-saving and are automatically controlled by ABB KNX systems.

The new building fulfills all the needs of service personnel and customers alike from meeting rooms, lecture halls, a cafeteria and a gymnasium. There are halls dedicated to ABB University training courses equipped with state-of-the-art technology and digital equipment in line with the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital transformation requirements.

It is expected that all ABB employees will be transferred to the new headquarters before the end of current year.
