Riyadh: At a time when countries are racing to be among the very first to install 5G connectivity networks, 5G-supported phones have to be up to the challenge. One of the few phones that is 5G-ready is the HUAWEI Mate 20X 5G. We know that Huawei has an excellent track record for producing high-tech products, would HUAWEI Mate 20X 5G continue this trend? Let’s have a look.

Dual 5G chipsets

Huawei has equipped the HUAWEI Mate 20 X (5G) with Kirin 980 and Balong 5000, a 5G multi-mode chipset. The 7nm Balong 5000 is compatible with multiple generations of network technology including 4G, 3G and 2G[1]. Huawei empowered this smartphone to identify slow Internet connection and thus switch between different networks. While some 5G phones support only Non-Standalone (NSA) networking mode, HUAWEI Mate 20X 5G supports both NSA and Standalone (SA). The SA, the recent version of networking mode, ensures a better performance and higher efficiency for your phone.

7.2-inch Ultra Large OLED Dewdrop Display

This phone is so big; it is edge-to-edge display. It measures 7.2 inch and it’s OLED Dewdrop Display[2]. The large display makes it the perfect device for viewing content and running gaming apps.

Matrix Camera System

The HUAWEI Mate 20 X (5G) comes with three Leica cameras in a distinctive squared layout - 40MP wide angle camera, 20MP ultra-wide camera and the 8MP telephoto camera - and a single 24MP snapper on the front. Photography possibilities are endless including macro and ultra-wide photography.

A battery that lasts one day

With faster connectivity comes a greater demand for data, which means a need for more power. Huawei has addressed this matter by housing a 4,200mAh battery inside the HUAWEI Mate 20 X (5G). The HUAWEI Mate 20 X (5G) also supports 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge, and its safety is certified by TÜV Rheinland, the international organization that provides product safety assessment and certification services.

Advanced cooling technology

Even in the case of graphically-intensive games, this device stays cool and responsive thanks to the integration of HUAWEI SuperCool - a groundbreaking cooling solution that utilizes graphene film and vapor chamber to deliver an outstanding cooling performance.

Verdict

HUAWEI Mate 20X 5G is a beast of phone that is feature-loaded and ready to take on the new 5G network connection challenges. HUAWEI Mate 20 X 5G is available at Huawei Flagship Store in Riyadh Park for a price of SAR 3,699.
