United Arab Emirates, Dubai : Etisalat Beach Canteen, the much-loved beachside dining popup, is all set to get underway tomorrow at Jumeirah Beach (behind Sunset Mall). Organised by the Dubai Festivals & Retail Establishment (DFRE), the event is part of the UAE’s Golden Jubilee festivities. It will last until 11 December, with free entry for all. Opening hours will be 1pm to 11pm from Sundays to Wednesdays, 1pm to 12am on Thursdays, 10am to 12am on Fridays, and 10am to 11pm on Saturdays.
Below are the details of Etisalat Beach Canteen zones set to light up the Year of the 50th celebrations.
Etisalat Stage Majlis: One of the main zones of Etisalat Beach Canteen, the Etisalat Stage Majlis will host a multitude of live entertainment including Al Ayyala (a traditional Arab group dance), Al Harbia (a form of authentic Emirati folk arts), Melodica Musical Performances (featuring both adults and children), and different Off Broadway acts. Other spectacles of note include a show by Mo Eltorky (one of UAE’s most engaging public speakers), The Great City Parade, various conventional Arab dances and musical displays, live tunes from around the world and Mindful Mom & Kids Yoga Workshop with Sandy Zanella.
Game Bustan: A new addition to Etisalat Beach Canteen 2021, Game Bustan will bring beach-side carnival vibes to life. Full of excitement, it will include different skill games like Shooting Station, Bull Ride, and Wipe Out. Visitors can have a lot of fun while winning big prizes and creating a tonne of great memories.
Yalla Fun Zone: Bigger and better than ever before, the pump-up Yalla Fun Zone at Etisalat Beach Canteen 2021 is set to be the ultimate all-day hangout spot for children. Endless entertainment is on the cards for young Canteeners with Bungee Jumping, Electric Bump Cars, Inflatable Park, Modesh Bouncy Castle, Trampolines, Zipline, and an Arts & Crafts Station.
Food Bazaar: Also called “Food Plaza,” this is one of the returning zones at the 50th UAE National Day Etisalat Beach Canteen. Known for delivering amazing meals, the yearly container setup will include a grill area as well as a juice bar this time around. The array of options, curated by various big-name brands, is sure to wow visitors and keep them coming back for more.
Mashawi Hut: Mashawi Hut is a specialised beach grill space within the Food Bazaar containing a live charcoal cooking station. Visitors will get to enjoy lots of melt-in-the-mouth delicacies representing authentic Arab cuisine.
Baqaala Lane: Also called Dukkan Lane, Baqaala Lane is an Arabized reinvention of Street Food Avenue. Its latest edition will feature a number of new concepts as well as past seasons’ favorite food outlets from Dubai and the rest of the UAE. The place is a foodie’s heaven where friends and family can enjoy a nice meal while watching their kids have fun at the beach.
Snack Souq: At Snack Souq, kiosks of hot, cold, sweet, and savory food will get their very own dedicated space for the first time since the advent of Etisalat Beach Canteen. Unique custom stalls are set to provide an authentic street food ambiance.
Halawa Corner: This is a special spot in the Snack Souq tailor-made for those with a sweet tooth!

The Great City Parade
Popular kids’ entertainment characters Modesh and Dana will be leading The Great City Parade during Etisalat Beach Canteen 2021. Visitors can enjoy lots of thrilling activities and meet their favorite characters as they begin their next adventure at the beach!
CZN Burak - The Game
Burak Özdemir, the much-loved Turkish chef and social media celebrity who goes by the nickname “CZN Burak,” has entered the world of mobile gaming. His latest venture CZN Burak - The Game is set to be launched at Etisalat Beach Canteen in partnership with Boss Bunny Games.
Splash & Dash by Oola Lab
Aside from numerous eateries, one of the highlights of Snack Souq will be the Splash & Dash setup from Oola Lab. Visitors can get their very own signature perfume to celebrate the UAE’s tradition of scents for the National Day!
National Day Fireworks
A spectacular and breath-taking display of fireworks is in the offing on 2 December at 9:00 PM. There can hardly be a better way to observe the 50th UAE National Day.
The Dukkan
The Dukkan is the go-to place for shopping enthusiasts during Etisalat Beach Canteen 2021. Eager customers can choose from a range of sustainable sun-care products by Sunkiss, delectable sauces from Talah’s Table, clean and natural vitamin gummies by Dubai-born manufacturer Rite, sustainable sunglasses by Pure Concepts, high-quality apparel (abayas, kimonos, beachwear, etc.) by Mirva’s Closet, and all sorts of eye-catching merchandise to celebrate the UAE’s National Day.
