Peter Diamandis, world-renowned entrepreneur, author, futurist and international pioneer in the field of innovation, caused quite a stir in the UAE this week when he said 100 Years old is primed to become the new 60.
In Dubai as a guest at the World Government Summit, Peter also gave a keynote at a private event at the Capital Club earlier this week where he shared his thoughts on health and longevity, in addition to other pertinent topics.
At this exclusive gathering of some of the region’s top CEO’s, Diamandis lauded the UAE’s energy of entrepreneurship and the investment in artificial intelligence and technology propelling the country’s tremendous growth in recent years.
“We are living in the most extraordinary time and this region is right up there driving the 4th Industrial Revolution.,” he said sharing details of some of the most exciting developments within XPRIZE, the incentive competition entity he founded in 1995.
A nonprofit organization, XPRIZE designs and manages public competitions intended to encourage technological development that could benefit humanity. Its trustees & benefactors include Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, James Cameron, Larry Page, Arianna Huffington, Ratan Tata among others.
Diamandis also took the opportunity to provide his audience with a sneak preview of the highly curated Abundance 360 (A360) Summit and Program being held in Dubai in March 26-27, 2019 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and with Dubai Future Foundation as a Hosting Partner.
