Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Monday in the red after its main index plunged 63.3 points, or 0.64%, reaching 9,833.42 points.

By 9:42 am Qatar time, the bourse's trading volume reached 912,000 shares, through 256 transactions, generating SAR 26.9 million.

In the meantime, the industrials sector fell 1.2%, whereas insurance rose 1.52%.

Industries Qatar’s stock was the worst performer with 2.63%, whereas Gulf International Services’ stock increased 4.8%.

The Commercial Bank’s (CBQ) stock, up 0.48%, was the most active in terms of trading value with a liquidity of QAR 9.56 million, while Gulf International Services’ stock acquired traded volume activities after 248,300 shares were exchanged.
