ArabFinance: El Ezz Porcelain (Gemma) (ECAP) incurred a net loss of EGP 20,989,158 in the first half (H1) of 2020, according to the company’s August 19th financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

In H1 2019, the company posted a net profit of EGP 23,627,187.

Gemma distributed annual cash dividends of EGP 0.225 per share on August 10th. The company stated the dividends will be disbursed to the shareholders recorded on August 5th.

Established in 1989, Gemma has become the leading manufacturer of high-end Ceramic and Porcelain tiles in Egypt and the Middle East.

Listed in 1998, ECAP works in security and alarm services, with a specialization in real estate investment trust and construction materials. ECAP has several subsidiaries operating across Egypt.
