Riyadh – The board of Najran Cement Company proposed cash dividends worth SAR 42.50 million for the second half (H2) of 2022, according to a bourse filing.

The Saudi firm would pay out a dividend of SAR 0.25 per share, representing 2.50% of the share nominal value, for 170 million eligible shares.

Meanwhile, the distribution dates for the dividends will be unveiled at a later time.

It is worth noting that the company’s board recommended the H2-22 dividends during its meeting on 11 March 2023.

Last year, Najran Cement achieved net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 113.74 million, down 31.29% year-on-year (YoY) from SAR 165.54 million.

Revenues retreated by 7.89% to SAR 535.68 million in 2022 from SAR 581.55 million in 2021, while the earnings per share (EPS) declined to SAR 0.67 from SAR 0.97.
