Dubai developer Emaar Properties and its shopping centre unit Emaar Malls will go ahead with the merger at the end of the trading session on November 21, the two companies said in a statement to Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Thursday.
The announcement comes as the two entities received no objections and met all the conditions regarding the planned merger.
The boards of the two companies, which trade as Emaar and Emaar Malls on DFM, first announced their intention to merge in March.
