ArabFinance: Credit Agricole Egypt (CIEB) posted a consolidated net profit of EGP 767.09 million for the first half (H1) of 2020, up from EGP 701.01 million in H1 2021, according to the companys consolidated financial statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The banks net interest income recorded EGP 1.44 billion in H1 2021, compared to EGP 1.43 billion in the year-ago period.

Meanwhile, the bank achieved a standalone net profit of EGP 764.37 million in the six-month period ended June 30th, compared to EGP 701.23 million in H1 2020.

Launched in 1996 and listed on the EGX in 2006, Crdit Agricole has subsidiaries operating across Egypt, working on commercial and professional services, in addition to thrifts and mortgage finance.
