Jill Roord gave the Netherlands a first-half lead in Wellington

Two-time defending champions the United States were held to a 1-1 draw by the Netherlands in their Women's World Cup group clash on Thursday, a rematch of the 2019 final between the teams.

Jill Roord gave the Netherlands a first-half lead in Wellington but USA captain Lindsey Horan got the equaliser to leave the two sides tied on four points after two games in Group E.
