The Omneeyat platform has revealed the launch of a new competition, called “Omneeyat Loves Talent”, to find superstar singers, comedians, and actors across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The online show is open to contestants aged 16 and above, and will be broadcast across the Middle East region. Not only that, but the show will be hosted by Middle East TV star Jad Bou Karam of OHMYJAD fame.
Big names are heading the “Omneeyat Loves Talent” competition, including Lebanese actress Takla Chamoun, Lebanese-French artist Léa Makhoul, and Egyptian actor and comedian Ahmed Ahmed. The three have teamed up to find the next generation of talents.
They are the judges behind the brand new “Omeeyat Loves Talent” competition, which aims to find up-and-coming singers, actors, and comics in the Middle East.
The competition will be split into three categories: singers, actors, and comedians. Each category will have its own devoted Talent Masters, who will help narrow down the competition until there is just one lucky winner in each category.
Once candidates from the MENA region have completed their online registration, they will need to submit their audition.
Contestants need to send a 2-3 minute video of their song, monologue/film scene, or comedy sketch of their choice.
Once contestants have made it past the audition, they will progress to the Talent Playoffs, before the Semi-Final and Final rounds.
There will be some incredible prizes on offer, including a Lebanese Film Academy workshop in Lebanon, comedy shows in Dubai and Los Angeles, music videos, PR campaigns, and much more.
Each round will involve a special challenge designed to test the contestants’ flexibility, skills, and talent. And, just like real life, the challenges will get tougher as the contest progresses.
All three rounds will be judged by the Talent Masters. Using their scores alongside public votes, the winners of each stage will be announced live on TV and via social media, until there is just one winner under each category.
The competition is a division of Omneeyat that focuses on bringing promising aspirants to the worlds of music, acting, and comedy through an online talent search. It creates a space where talents with world-class potential can shine their brightest.
The full list of Talent Masters include Takla Chamoun, Tony Farjallah, Michel Hourani, and Rolla Karam for those in the actors section. Léa Makhoul, Saeed Saeed, Albert Carter, and Mazzi will work with the singers section, whilst Ahmed Ahmed, Dany Abu Jawde, and Ali Al Sayed will work with the comedy section.
Omneeyat is an exclusive platform where world-class talents can showcase their work and connect with their fans on a deeper level.
The platform combines the features and benefits of old and new media to provide an interactive space for talents and fans. It also creates, manages, and promotes personalised content for talents, while artists focus on their craft and grow their fan-base.
