Muscat – The Ministry of Health (MoH) on Tuesday announced 1,511 new COVID-19 infections registered within the past 24 hours, taking the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Oman to 369,190. Five new deaths were reported during the same time.

‘The total number of COVID-19 related deaths reported in the country now stands at 4,216,’ an MoH statement said. The ministry added that the total number of recoveries is 345,129 and the recovery rate is 93.5 per cent.

‘There were 82 new hospitalisations in the past 24 hours. The total number of COVID-19 patients currently in health institutions is now 396, including 78 in Intensive Care Units,’ it stated.
