Dean of Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Tajikistan to Kuwait Dr Zabidullah Zabidov said the decision to exempt Kuwaitis from obtaining entry visas to Tajikistan will take effect at the beginning of next year, reports Al-Anba daily. In an exclusive statement to the daily, Zabidov pointed out that the decision reflects the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries; as well as the commitment to strengthen ties in various fields for the benefit of the two friendly countries and their citizens. He disclosed the decision includes granting the visitor a temporary residence for one month, during which he can visit various places. He added this will have a significant impact on revitalizing Kuwaiti tourism in his country; especially since Tajikistan has tourism and cultural diversity, as well as a suitable environment for investments.
Meanwhile, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) issued a circular on the budget for the annual travel tickets of oil sector workers for the year 2022, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily obtained a copy of the circular, stating that the cost of annual economy tickets for Kuwaitis working in the oil sector (Kuwait-Cairo-Kuwait) is estimated at KD 265,100; KD199,100 for children and KD 36,100 for infants. Tickets for first class adult passengers cost KD 427,100; KD 423,100 for children and KD 55,100 for infants. Sources disclosed the cost of annual tickets has not been adjusted for years.
