KUWAIT CITY: The National Guard Bureau has called on its employees to receive the vaccination to protect against the COVID-19 virus in order to ensure their safety and the safety of society, reports Al- Seyassah daily.
Associate for Administrative Support Brigadier-General Engineer Issam Nayef Essam said the Health Crisis Management Cell has been working since the beginning of the pandemic to protect the health of National Guard employees, and is continuously monitoring the rate of infection and to preserve the health of National Guard members, their families and society from the emerging Corona virus.
He added, in order to provide the best service to the National Guard employees, the Medical Services Directorate has opened the Corona examination center for the National Guard, through which more than 15,000 virus checks have been conducted for the affiliates.
The ‘Support’ has urged the National Guard employees to receive the vaccine for the sake of their safety and the safety of their families and co-workers, which would contribute to limiting the spread of the epidemic at the state level, and indirectly help control the high rate of infections around the world.
Director of the Medical Services Directorate, Colonel Fahd Abdullah Mayah, said since the beginning of the crisis, measures have been taken to create a safe environment for the National Guard employees by training the medical and technical personnel, providing devices and equipment to combat the virus, following up on the health status of the infected members and providing them with the necessary treatment until fully cured.
