KUWAIT CITY - Ministry of Education came to decision due to circumstances the country is going through, and based on the decision of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Education and the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Saud Al-Harbi decided to suspend schools for students and administrative bodies working in public and private schools and institutes for two weeks, starting next Sunday, March 1, until Thursday March 12, 2020.

Earlier Tareq Al-Merzem, head of the Kuwait’s Center for Government Communication (CGC) and government spokesman, said that the decision was made at the cabinet meeting today to suspend studies at school and universities throughout Kuwait starting on 1st March.

The suspension includes students and members of the teaching staff, he indicated.
