Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Youth, said that the Gabon Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai is a space to reflect on nature, expedite conservation efforts and address climate change.
During her visit to the Gabon Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, under the theme "For a sustainable future", Al Kaabi met with Gina Lebongo Nzing, Director of the Pavilion, who took the minister on a tour highlighting the natural treasure of the Republic of Gabon. Nzing also gave the lowdown on the government's efforts to develop the country, the country’s new highway project, and other investment opportunities including power generation and development.
The Gabon Pavilion offers visitors a virtual trip to this central African country, the majority of which is covered by the Congo basin. The country’s green cover is the reason why it’s called the second lung of our planet after the Amazon rainforests, where 80 percent of its forested land has been preserved.
