Sharjah Municipality on Wednesday announced changes in the parking fees during Ramadan.

Motorists need not worry about parking as all parking spots will be free during Taraweeh prayers in the last evening during the holy month.

Additionally, parking lots surrounding mosques will be free for one hour after the adhan call of the five daily prayers.

The municipality warned drivers to park properly and avoid any parking violations.

The holy month of Ramadan is likely to begin on May 6 in most of the Islamic nations, according to The International Astronomical Centre.
