KUWAIT CITY: Cooperative societies in the country announced the closure of their supermarkets after monitoring and proving that one or more of their workers were infected. Some of the workers were working in sensitive locations such as stores, arranging the goods on the shelves and they have direct contact with customers.

Al-Ardiya Cooperative Society announced the closure of Cooperative Society No. 2 for one day in order to sterilize it. Eshbilia Cooperative also announced the same matter in its new cooperative after both the Surra Cooperative Society and Al-Dasma and Bneid Al-Qar had reported earlier.

To avoid increase in infections for a period of one day to sanitize the cooperatives they have been shut.
