MANAMA — Bahrain on Thursday recorded 468 new coronavirus cases and 378 recoveries, according to a statement from the country’s Ministry of Health.

Of the new cases, 273 were detected among expatriate workers, while 176 were due to contacts of active cases, and 19 cases were related to travel.

The ministry said that it conducted as many as 7,776 new coronavirus tests on Wednesday. The ministry also said that with the recovery of 378 more people, the total number of recoveries in the kingdom now stands at 11,487.

There are currently 113 cases receiving treatment, of which 14 are in a critical condition. As many as 5,134 cases are stable out of a total of 5,148 active cases, the ministry added.
