AJMAN- H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, was briefed about the programmes and activities of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), most notably for its winter campaign launched recently to help refugees.
Sheikh Humaid was briefed in his office in the Ruler’s Court, in the presence of H.H. During the meeting, Sheikh Humaid also learnt about the ERC’s plan, humanitarian programmes and activities aimed at supporting various social sectors both inside and outside the UAE and in refugee camps.
The Ruler of Ajman commended the UAE leadership’s contributions to supporting humanitarian organisations and its keenness to help the needy locally and internationally, most notably the Yemeni people, Syrian refugees and everyone in need in Arab, Muslim, and other countries.
He also lauded the monitoring of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the ERC, his support for the ERC’s branches and centres nationwide and its local and international humanitarian work.
