He has advised on a considerable number of high value transactions including debt capital markets, project finance and Sukuk issuances, while working at another international firm where he was a principal partner.

We are expanding our business in the GCC in sectors that we consider offer the most potential for growth. Finance and debt capital markets and in particular Saudi Arabia are essential components of this.

“Kahlon is someone we have known of for quite some time as a leader in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain and I am delighted that he has joined us. It enhances our already strong market—leading Bahrain practice while also creating new opportunities in Saudi Arabia. He also boosts our strong reputation for Islamic finance and debt capital markets work across the GCC."

Kahlon said: "I am delighted to be joining Trowers & Hamlins. The firm has an excellent reputation in the region and I believe that my experience will complement the good work that has already been done by my new colleagues in Bahrain and across the GCC. We are focussed on being agile and responsive to the opportunities that are arising in an ever-changing market." -- Tradearabia News Service
