The Health Ministry said yesterday that 139 restaurants across the country were inspected on Friday, in co-ordination with the Interior Ministry and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority.

Violations ranged between allowing entry to people aged under 18, people who have not been vaccinated and those who failed to display a vaccination certificate on the BeAware Bahrain app.

Some stores were alerted to their violations which were corrected immediately.
