Muscat: The fisheries control team was able to seize and confiscate a foreign fishing vessel while it was attempting to enter the Sultanate.
A statement issued online by Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said: "The fisheries control team in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, in cooperation with the Maritime Security Centre and the concerned authorities, managed to seize and confiscate a foreign fishing vessel while entering Omani waters.The legal procedures in this regard were completed."
