UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has urged citizens residing in or traveling to London of a recent increase in violence, including a number of attacks on people of Arab Gulf states.
"We advise our citizens to take special care, especially at night, and avoid wearing valuable items that attract attention in public places," the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry also urged citizens in London to coordinate with the Embassy regarding any security concerns.
The ministry called on citizens contact the Embassy in on +4420 7581 128 for assistance in case of any threat to their security and safety.
On Friday, an Omani student who was stabbed to death for his expensive watch is the latest victim in London's grisly knife crime series that has already claimed two other lives in less than a day.
Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Araimi, 26, was fatally stabbed near Harrods - world famous luxury department store in Knightsbridge - at around midnight on Friday.
Police said they have launched an investigation and no arrests have been made.
Meanwhile, detectives have charged 26-year-old Kieran Brown with the murder of Exauce Ngimbi in Hackney, east London. Ngimbi was attacked in Clarence Mews shortly after 2pm on Thursday and died half an hour later.
Twenty-year-old Crosslom Davis, a popular rapper, was also stabbed to death some 12 hours before Ngimbi. Davis was pronounced dead just after 3.30am on Friday in Deptford, south east London.
