Riyadh: The Ministry of Commerce announced blocking 51 fake websites that impersonate the ministry by claiming to receive and promote advertisements through web search engines.

Ministry Spokesperson Abdulrahman Al-Hussein stressed the ministry's keenness on protecting consumers from fraud attempts and its continued efforts to monitor and block all violating websites.

He also called on consumers to report any fake website through the report centre on 1900 or through Balagh App.
