RIYADH — Finance deputies and sherpas of G20 members conducted their meeting on Wednesday to wrap up this year’s agenda and lay the foundation for a strong leaders’ declaration ahead of the G20 summit on Nov. 21 - 22.
The meeting began around 2 p.m. local time and was chaired by Dr. Fahad Al-Mubarak, the Saudi G20 Sherpa and Abdulaziz Alrasheed, the assistant minister of finance.
A virtual finance ministers meeting will also be conducted on Nov. 20 where they will discuss the global economy prior to the leaders’ summit the following day. — SG
